Starfinder Adventure Path Set Attack of the Swarm (Part 1 - 6)
This contains all 6 parts to the Starfinder Adventure Path Attack of the Swarm. The interstellar insectile threat known as the Swarm is driven by nothing but the desire to consume and expand. But when they strike at the peaceful Suskillon system in the Vast, their behavior indicates they have a secondary motive beyond simple destruction. Can the heroes survive the invasion and discover the reason behind the Swarm's attack on their home system? Or will Suskillon fall like so many others? Fate of the Fifth (1 of 6): As the insectoid alien Swarm surges across another system in the Vast, the heroes are the only survivors of a doomed military battalion. After retreating through several miles of war-torn terrain to a fortified command post, they receive orders to evacuate the planet and rescue any civilians along the way. Among the refugees is a shirren priest of the Forever Queen Hylax, a mysterious ancient insect-goddess whose temple seems to be of particular interest to the Swarm. By relying on their wits—and each other—the heroes just might make it into orbit before the Swarm completely overruns their world. The Last Refuge (2 of 6): Fleeing a world consumed by the ravenous, alien Swarm, the heroes and a handful of desperate survivors limp toward the nearest colony world in a newly acquired starship. After thwarting a mutiny, they reach a large metropolis, where tensions are high. Local fanatics claim the oncoming Swarm is a punishment for the system's sins, disrupting the military's efforts to take in refugees. Worse, a series of caverns below the city that provide the only refuge from inevitable invasion are far from unoccupied, and must be cleared out before time runs out! Huskworld (3 of 6): Hoping to find a way to fight back against the alien, insectoid Swarm, the heroes travel to a distant world already consumed by the deadly invaders. They soon discover they aren't alone in their struggles when they meet a handful of resistance fighters on the ravaged planet. With the group's help, the heroes strike against a massive Swarm creature that is draining the world's resources dry and infiltrate an infested university to search for a dead professor's research that could lead to a mythical holy site to the insect goddess Hylax and the secret to defeating the Swarm once and for all! The Forever Reliquary (4 of 6): The heroes must hunt for an icy comet hurtling through the void, the supposed home to a secret monastery dedicated to the insect goddess Hylax. Once there, they must work to gain the inhabitants' trust by undertaking a series of trials. If they succeed, they will gain access to a powerful artifact that will aid in the battle against the ravenous, alien Swarm! But before the monks can entrust the item to the PCs, the comet is besieged by waves of Swarm creatures eager to get the artifact for themselves! Hive of Minds (5 of 6): The monks of the Forever Reliquary send the heroes into a psychic projection of the Swarm's hive mind, a hostile and alien landscape. They must establish a beachhead on this mental front and discover how to empower and use the artifact given to them by their Hylaxian allies. However, this mindscape fights back at every possible turn until the heroes face off against the embodiment of the Swarm's interconnected minds! If they can defeat this entity, it will give the heroes a powerful advantage back in the real world! The God-Host Ascends (6 of 6): The heroes have sent the Swarm into disarray, but the entity called the God-Host still stands on the verge of completing its plans. To ensure an end to the threat, the heroes at last return to their overrun homeworld—but this time with the might of an entire military behind them! Only by finally defeating the massive God-Host can the PCs break the will of the Swarm army and bring peace back to Suskillon!
